Megan Devlin graduated from Molloy College with a degree in Media Communications with a minor in Professional Communications. During her time at Molloy Megan enjoyed taking editing and post -production classes saying, “It helped me learn how to create a story my way with material that was given to me.”
Although she enjoyed the various communications classes that she was offered, Megan says the relationships she was able to develop with her professors was the thing she liked most about Molloy. “They were there when I needed them for anything,” says Megan.
Megan credits the COM department with successfully preparing her for life after graduation. “The COM department helped me to set up an internship to get a kick-start in my future as well as offer me advice,” she says. Megan interned at a PR and Advertising agency as a PR specialist. She credits this internship with helping her decide what she wanted to do in the future.
Megan believes it is important for current COM students to venture outside of their comfort zone saying, “As long as you are open to possibilities outside you may not have considered before you’re going to be fine.”
